We

We have had a couple of people leave feedback recently that our postage is to high which I find remarkable for a start we have just reduced it this season from £6.99 to £5 and added free postage on orders over £100 and the all year round packs which means we are now sending the majority of parcels out at the rate the courier charges us but then they add VAT to that which we do not pass on to you as our products are zero rated so we don't have to.
If we send plants out by Royal Mail as we do sometimes it costs us double what we charge you on average.
Unfortunately being a small family firm we cannot negotiate the rates that the big companies get offered as they are shifting the volumes and Couriers charge per volume of parcels per week your shipping, In order for us to have a postage rate lower than we currently have we would have to put our plant prices up in order to be able to cover the courier bill each month. so we price our plants competitively so as the over all cost is about right and we do not charge for packaging costs as part of our postage as we used recycled packaging.
For example our biggest sellers a 100 pack costs around £11 to send via Royal Mail and around £7 by courier you get charged £5 so you are getting value for money!

In the shop many of the plants allow you too select a month for delivery please fill that in the box provided or if you require your order urgently fill in urgent and we will do our best but also contact us to discuss your urgent requirement so we are aware of the need for urgency
If you wish to change the quantity your ordering place the number in the box and click on the grey arrow at the side to update your basket or to delete an item click on the grey bin.
If you require different deliveries for different months please ensure you either do separate orders for each delivery month or select the appropriate postage for 1, 2 or 3 orders.
If you have any special requirements such as you only want plug raised plants not bare root, or you will not accept substitutes or you have specific delivery requirements please write this in the other information box during check out.
Most orders are sent via courier service with City Link, seed orders, some smaller orders and orders to Northern Ireland and the highlands and islands are sometimes sent via Royal Mail 1st class signed for depending on the cost. The Isle of Wight is by courier . Seeds ordered with plants are delivered with the plants unless you ask for them to be delivered separately which will incur a £1.00 postage charge.

Or you can place your order by Post with a cheque

We can also take card payments over the phone via our online terminal please ring us between 4pm and 6pm to do this when we are not busy doing orders as it takes several minutes to do online
