Finally we are up and running properly (March 13, 2008) After a very tricky first 8 Months down in Cornwall after our huge move from Scotland last July we are finally settled nursery wise. We initially moved down to a property with about half an acre of land that we were going to build our new nursery on but unfortunately we then had the huge blow that our tenancy agreement was not going to be renewed after the initial 6 months as the landlords wanted the property back for personal reasons. So we then had a major problem and a local herb nursery helped us out with the borrowing of polytunnel space until we got sorted and we did have a kind offer of land from some friends of ours on their farm but unfortunately the land was just to sloped for us to successfully construct a nursery on . But we have now been offered the chance to share the nursery where we have been borrowing the polytunnel and have an exciting new base for our business and a chance to benefit each other in our business's as Chris does herbs and we do Veg and flowers it should all go nicely together . And we will grow on the extra veg to sell locally and provide fresh produce for the nursery tea room opening this spring. Click here to return to the News page
